School of Rock

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s award-winning smash hit musical premiered on Broadway in 2015, and has since been seen on stages around the globe! Based on the hilarious hit movie, this new musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band – sensationally performed live by the production’s young actors every night with roof-raising energy!

Our second full scale musical, and this was something SPECIAL!
A brand new cast for TFTP presented the story of America's most infamous outlaw couple to a sell-out audience, including an additional performance on the Saturday!
A Taste of the West End

We were back at the Little Theatre with a brand new musical theatre concert! This time we brought A Taste of the West End to the Queen Street stage!
The story followed the day in a Musical Theatre Diner, and told the tales of the staff and various patrons who visited throughout the day, through musical theatre songs of course!

We were extremely proud to bring Jonathan Larsson's incredible production of Rent to the KLT stage, and with a completely sell-out show run, we received some incredible reviews.

TFTP returned in October 2022 with our latest concert, and this production saw us take to the Knutsford Little Theatre stage with Roles We'll Never Play!
This sell-out, miscast concert contained numbers from some of our members' favourite musicals, including Heathers, Jersey Boys & Hamilton.

AN OUTDOOR MUSICAL THEATRE CONCERT
SATURDAY 10TH JULY 2021 | EGERTON PRIMARY SCHOOL
The very beginning for TFTP. This company was founded when we decided to create a Socially-Distanced Musical Theatre Concert, in order to raise funds for the Theatre Support Fund+.
We pulled together a cast of 13 local performers, and on show day, we welcomed 100 guests to our event, where the sun shone down on us as we welcomed theatre back to the town, after such a long lay-off due to COVID-19.
We were lucky enough to also be joined by Charlotte Wakefield, the West-End Star who grew up in the beautiful town of Knutsford.
