We are very excited to announce that the West End’s CHARLOTTE WAKEFIELD will be making a guest appearance at our concert!
Originally from Knutsford, the double Olivier Award Nominee Charlotte has received critical acclaim for her work on stage and screen.
In 2008, she was cast in her first West End show where she starred as Wendla Bergman in the Tony Award winning Musical adaptation of Frank Wedekind's Spring Awakening. She received huge critical acclaim and went on to receive her first Laurence Olivier Awards Nomination for "Best Actress In A Musical" aged 19.
Since then she has worked extensively in London's West End as well as regionally, including working under the direction of Roxana Silbert for the Royal Shakespeare Company and starring as Sophie in both the International Tour and West End productions of Mamma Mia!
In 2013, Charlotte starred as Maria Rayner in the Regents Park Open Air Theatre production of The Sound Of Music, again, receiving huge critical acclaim. For her performance, she was nominated for her second Laurence Olivier Award for "Best Actress In A Musical". She was also nominated in the same category at the Evening Standard Awards.
We are incredibly excited for Charlotte to join us on stage and help us celebrate Musical Theatre whilst raising funds for these incredible causes!
